It's been a decade since an injured biker wrote to Tom LaBonge about the same exact problem (as recounted by the Los Feliz Ledger: http://www.losfelizledger.com/article/letters-to-the-editor-on-labonges-use-of-discretionary-funds/), and nothing has been done since. It's impossible to bike straight on those lanes because of the need to avoid the cracks and potholes, making it necessary to swerve onto the road, which is a very dangerous way to bike. Just last week I got a flat two days in a row trying to bike through this obstacle course of a road. I sincerely hope that the entire stretch of this road can be repaved and fixed soon. It's been a safety hazard for way too long.
Please fix the severely cracked and VERY DANGEROUS bike lanes on Griffith Park Boulevard
