TWO CD4 HOMELESS HOUSING PROJECTS MOVE FORWARD

Los Angeles - Today, City Council approved $6.6 million in HHH funding for a 63-unit of permanent supportive housing project in Council District Four, located at 537-541 Western Avenue. Councilmember Ryu also introduced a funding motion today to allocate funding for another homeless housing project in Council District Four, A 100-bed Bridge Home facility in Los Feliz.

“Homelessness is a crisis in every neighborhood, and we need to be moving as fast as possible to bring these projects online and get our fellow Angelenos off the street,” Councilmember Ryu said. “Securing funding for permanent supportive housing on Western and moving forward on funding for A Bridge Home in Los Feliz means we are that much closer to making these life-saving projects a reality.”

Councilmember Ryu currently has six homeless housing projects either open, under construction or in development in Council District Four. Learn more here.
