Rob Fisher is a Field Deputy & Community Planner for Councilmember David Ryu representing Council District Four.
Rob serves as Ryu’s representative to the Metro South Los Angeles Area, including Mid-Wilshire, Hancock Park, Miracle Mile, and Hollywood.
Rob has a background in land use, litigation and community organizing. Most recently he served as manager of the Warner Center Association while splitting his time as a planning associate with Rossenheim and Associates in Woodland Hills. Prior to his work in land use, Rob practiced law in areas ranging from consumer protection to criminal defense, notably serving as a deputy public defender in Orange County. He has also worked as a community organizer on a number of local and national campaigns.
He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and earned a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Rob also holds a Masters degree in Comparative Social Policy from Oxford University. He is a Santa Monica native.
