The annual event brings in more than 2,000 elected officials from cities across the nation to advocate in the interest of their cities in the Nation’s Capital. “It is an honor to join with thousands of city officials in our nation’s capital and speak up for the needs of Council District Four and Los Angeles,” Councilmember Ryu said.

The event includes numerous conferences and seminars with opportunities for cities to share and strategize solutions for shared challenges, such as in housing, civic engagement and economic development. National League of Cities has been operating for over 90 years and has over 1,900 member cities, including Los Angeles.

“There’s a lot of bluster coming out of Washington, but at National League of Cities, we know that no single person can solve today’s problems,” Councilmember Ryu said. “It takes all of us, and cities are working together to find new solutions and improve the lives of millions of Americans.”
