Set to open in 2019, the Anita May Rosenstein Campus will be an inter-generational campus of homeless and affordable housing services open to all, right in the heart of Hollywood. Located across from The Village at Ed Gould Plaza, the campus will include 98 units of affordable housing for seniors, 25 units of affordable housing for youth, and 100 beds for homeless youth.
The project first broke ground in March 2017. It will feature a commercial kitchen, senior programs and services, youth programs and services, and counseling, services and professionals serving health and mental health needs. The campus will also include around 200 staff members on site and subterranean parking.
The Anita May Rosenstein Campus will also be the Center’s new administrative headquarters, freeing space for the McDonald/Wright building to become entirely a health and medical center, thereby enabling us to meet the growing demand for health-related services, including medical care, mental health, addiction recovery, HIV/STD testing and treatment, and much more.
This inter-generational campus was made possible by Proposition HHH funds as well as other public grants pushed forward by Councilmember Ryu. When opened, it will house around 225 people and be a revolutionary step in addressing homelessness and housing in Hollywood.
