FINDING HOME Film Screening at City Hall

Please join the City of Los Angeles for a special screening event:

FINDING HOME, directed by Abraham Troen, and winner of numerous film festival awards, tells the story of three LGBTQ immigrants and asylum seekers in Los Angeles as they navigate questions of identity, place, and an uncertain future. Please join Councilmembers David Ryu, Mitch O'Farrell, and Mike Bonin, as well as the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and organizations representing the LGBTQ, AAPI, Persian-American and Latinx communities for a special screening of this docu-series. A panel discussion with the filmmakers and leading voices on LGBTQ and immigrant-rights issues will follow the film.

Reception with light fare begins at 6pm in the Los Angeles City Hall Rotunda (3rd Floor).

Film begins at 7pm in City Council Chambers with panel discussion to follow.
