As part of the Los Angeles Housing + Community Investment Department's (HCIDLA) and the Housing Authority of City of Los Angeles' (HACLA) collaboration to jointly complete the City of Los Angeles' Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH) Plan, they will be holding community meetings for the public in the 7 planning areas of the City. These meetings will take place in the following areas of the City: North Valley, South Valley, West Los Angeles, Central Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, South Los Angeles, and Harbor.
These meetings will consist of a short overview of the AFH and why it is important, followed by break out group discussions to have the public identify both barriers and access to opportunity, including access to affordable housing and other opportunities. In combination with the public meetings they've prepared a resident survey that they hope you can fill out and return.
