Adeena Bleich is the Deputy Chief of Staff for Councilmember David Ryu representing Council District 4.
Bleich began her career as an educator and administrator at the American Jewish University. She later served as Field Deputy for Council District 5. In this capacity, she focused on helping constituents navigate City services and developed relationships with community and business organizations. She also served under former Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn as a Senior Policy Analyst, in the Office of Management and Budget.
In addition, Bleich worked as a consultant for an educational non-profit called New Schools Better Neighborhoods, served as the Los Angeles Director of American Israel Public Affairs Committee, was a Senior Manager for BSC Management, and most recently served as the Regional Director for the Jefferson Awards Foundation in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Bleich has a unique combination of association and business management, and fundraising and community relations experience. She earned her Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from Antioch University and B.A. from Pitzer College.
